Harold And Maude Hearses
Here is the holy grail of hearse collectors all over the world. The Harold and Maude hearses. The awesome 1959 Superior and the Jaguar hearse that Harold creates in his garage after his mother gets rid of the Superior for a Jaguar XKE. More suitable for a man of his stature in society his mother said. Yeah, right! The Jag was driven off a cliff at the end of the movie and is lost forever, but a very lucky person out in California owns the '59 Superior. If you could see how green with envy I am... To have just a piece of the wrecked Jag hearse would probably be enough to induce cardiac arrest in this coach fan.

Chicken Fried Bacon
Well you knew it had to happen. This restaurant in Texas is serving up plate full of country fried bacon. Yes you heard it right, country fried bacon. Wish I owned a funeral home in this town as the business has to be booming as the townfolk drop dead from cardiac arrest. See the video at "Musings by Tom" Blog. http://musingsbytom.blogspot.com/ I'm almost tempted to head to Texas to try some of this bacon.
2009 Echelon Limo Style Hearse
Look what I found on the cwcoach.com website, it's a 2009 Echelon Limo Style hearse. Limo style means that it has glass on the sides of the body behind the side doors. You can see the casket this way unlike the Landau style hearses which usually have landau bars mounted on on the sides and no windows. The Echelon is definitely not an old style hearse! With its flowing lines it looks totally modern and sleek. At only $91,900 I hope it is a big seller so we will see many of them in service. Hopefully this signals a return of the limo style hearse! Now all we need to see is commercial glass to make an appearance in the lineup.
